Salvation Army
Aged Care Responsive Website

Introduction:

I originally redesigned and developed the Salvation Army Aged Care Plus website on a five-week timeframe. The primary website mission was to showcase the Salvation Army’s 26 aged care residences throughout Australia and to increase enquiries, on-site visits and residents in a competitive market. The secondary mission was to showcase their experience and credibility as a brand to reassure family members who may be using their services for loved ones. The site had to be simple to use as the target market consisted of family members, aged 40-60, enquiring about their elderly parents. I created a functional prototype to ensure the site met all the clients’ and users’ needs before commencing into the design stage. The functionality of this site included a directory that showcased their aged care residences, as well as standard text pages providing information on their range of services.
